Contributor ID: A Decentralized Identity Framework
Contributor IDs are fundamental to ensuring transparency and accountability within our Blockchain-based system. Each contributor—whether an individual or a device such as a dashcam—is assigned a unique Contributor ID during the registration process. This ID is linked to their wallet address and used throughout the platform to track contributions, rewards, and reputation.
Purpose of Contributor IDs:
Unique Identification: Assigning a unique ID allows contributors to participate without directly exposing their wallet address, enhancing privacy and system organization.
Reward Transparency: Contributor IDs are linked to wallet addresses to ensure rewards are accurately distributed based on validated contributions.
Building Reputation: Contributor IDs help maintain a history of contributions and build a reputation score that may influence prioritization or bonus rewards.
Registration Process:
Contributors register through the platform and provide their wallet address.
A unique Contributor ID is generated and mapped to the wallet address.
The Contributor ID is stored on-chain to ensure transparency and immutability.
